Centre for Academic Integrity
Academic integrity is an inclusive concept built on the values and actions of individuals and sustained by the support of institutions. All kinds of education and training activities and every stakeholder of the education and training process are included in the concept of academic honesty. Although academic honesty is not a concept belonging to a specific department or program, it is directly related to all kinds of activities of educational institutions. In this direction, our Centre aims to develop our institutional academic integrity policy in line with our related national policies, and to raise awareness about academic integrity and thus to prevent academic misconduct through trainings to be given in line with this institutional policy we have developed. Through preventive institutional policies that we will develop, we aim not only to guide students but also academics, and administrators and to raise awareness of all these stakeholders. In this direction, we aim to keep our corporate policies up-to-date through relevant projects and research carried out by our Centre. We also aim to guide other higher education institutions that aim to develop academic integrity policies or keep their policies up-to-date, both at national and international levels.
